Disney Cruise Movie Night List | Disney Magic

Just like any Disney fan would know that watching Cinderella at home before your trip makes that first glimpse of Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom that much more breathtaking, there are a several movies that will enhance your experience of the Disney Magic.
My list is below.
Castaways please add on your own in the comments!

Films I love to watch before a Disney Magic cruise:

Peter Pan

While Tinker Bell is the Disney Wonder's godmother, you'll find an entire section of the Oceaneer's Club devoted to this feisty fairy and her Pixie Hollow pals. Peter stars in Disney Dreams although his pirate ship is no longer moored in the Oceaneer Club.

Beauty and the Beast
Lumiere's, with it's lovely mural and rose chandeliers pays homage to the beloved bookworm and her misunderstood Beast. Belle also makes multiple character appearances around the ship and in the musicals.

Cinderella
If you are a little rusty on either the classic and you missed the excellent live action reimagining, I'd add this classic to your movie queue. Twice Charmed is a highlight of our Disney Magic cruises.

Pirates of the Caribbean
Pirate night and a deserted island both mean a chance to meet Jack Sparrow! The entire Pirates of the Caribbean franchise serves as my go to packing background movie. Too scary for your crew? Jake and the Neverland Pirates will have younger buccaneers telling, "Yo ho, let's go!"

The Three Caballeros
Watch the classic movie, or at least ride the Gran Fiesta Tour before enjoying Carioca's Brazilian fare.

Pinocchio
Familiarity with this classic makes the ship horn that much sweeter! Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket appear briefly in Disney Dreams while the Blue Fairy is featured more prominently. Don't be the mom who's kid leans over and asks loudly "Who's that?"
Ahem.
Been there.

Lilo and Stitch
They have Stitch meet and greets but for the kids in the clubs they also can enjoy an Aloha Luau and several activities based around the film. My daughter loved the luau and sometimes Stitch drops in as well.

Finding Nemo
With the new Crush segments in the Animator's Palate show, swim on over to this if you've run out of movie night options. Say hi to the seagulls in Cabanas for me!

Tangled
This November, Tangled: The Musical dances it's way onto the Walt Disney Theatre stage. Catch up on all of the adventures and hijinks before seeing the show.

and last but not least,

Fantasia
Sorcerer Mickey can be viewed on the Magic's bow

(with segments in the musicals or sections of the Oceaneer's Club)
